Pakistan Hope Schools
Over the past 10+ years, GBM has partnered with local Pakistani pastors to found and financially support 25+ schools in the Punjab region of Pakistan. Some of these schools are geared toward women who desire vocational training, and most are primary schools for children living in the brickyards. We are currently building a secondary school for these children in order to ensure education into their high school years.
Pictured above are the architectural plans for the our newest GBM Hope School. As far as we know, this will be the only secondary school in Pakistan that reaches children in the brickyards. So far in the construction process, we have raised the ground by three feet in order to protect the school from flooding during monsoon season, constructed a brick perimeter fence around the entire property, and finished the frame of the first floor! We only need to raise $40,000 more to finish this project!
